Every story has a starting point, and this is how ours began. Terres de Vidalba, a crazy idea made reality<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Starting from scratch was quite a challenge. Though we had ties to Priorat, we didn’t have the privilege of a family winemaking tradition. For us, this became motivation to demonstrate the passion, respect, and dedication we hold for this magical and prestigious wine region.<\/p>\n

We come from a family of opticians. Our father is an optician, and we grew up in the family optics shop, where we learned that attention to small details guarantees the best visual experience. This is also our philosophy when it comes to making our wines. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It all begins at Barranc de la Bruixa<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

With determination and perseverance, we found the terroir we were looking for near Poboleda, in Barranc de la Bruixa, with an east, southeast orientation and an altitude between 430m and 480m. These conditions have allowed us to benefit from an interesting day-night thermal range that helps the grapes to mature at a slower, optimal pace, achieving the ideal acidity to produce fresher wines. The poor slate soil with good drainage has facilitated slow and deep root development, producing the best grapes. <\/p>\n

Calvari de Poboleda is the second estate in the project, planted 20 years later on slopes within the village itself.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Love for the earth and what it gives us<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We practice respectful viticulture<\/strong> , we work to achieve a good balance of plants and we take care of yields. With the highest artisanal demands,<\/strong> we harvest the grapes at their ideal moment of maturation to ensure the essence and character that determines so much of our wines. <\/p>\n

We bet on Mediterranean varieties. Black Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and also white Grenache give our wines the Priorat DNA character,<\/strong> making elegant, fresh and very personal wines that represent the terroir from which they come. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We take care of the small details to create exceptional wines. Every bottle of wine is the result of work done with patience and dedication, which is why our winery offers limited production<\/strong>. We harvest different grape varieties in small batches and keep them separate throughout the vinification process. This way, we can experiment and make decisions based on what we learn about the behavior of each variety and plot, year after year.
