• — Why don’t we make wine in Priorat?
• — Have you gone mad? Do you know what you’re saying?! — I said to Júlia in the month of June a few years ago, not long after turning 40.

This would be a challenge, especially starting from scratch. We agreed about Priorat, but we didn’t have our own vineyards or any family members nearby who did. It was a lovely idea, but we definitely had our work cut out for us!

We are opticians, so our professional life is about caring for people’s vision while thinking about aesthetics too. We have to pay close attention to detail, and we decided that we could bring this way of doing things to the world of winemaking as well.

The idea took hold since we were in a magical place and a prestigious one too. Priorat is history, it is nature, landscapes, the love of wine, respect for the land and its care, hard work and the resilience of its people. In short, it’s the real thing!

Our vines have personality and are always sure to make an impression. We invite all of you to experience Priorat and accompany us on our journey.
